How does my consultation cost ?

You can always ask me - free of cost - what you need. I will give you a quote, instruct you on my fees or otherwise recommend you the expert. Start-up friendly prices are negotiable.

If the order is a "one-timer" then we shall agree upon a flat fee. If you need on-going consultation, that will be invoiced by the billable hour. I try to keep my fees transparent. Legal aid is generally acceptable.

1.) Initial Consultation / Legal "First Aid"

I usually expect € 100 flat for an intial consultation -- i.e. legal "first aid"--  for about an hour in my office to answer all and any questions. In the case all your questions are answered within a very short period (approx. 15 minutes), then we will negotiate a lower fee. During this time you will obtain a concrete evaluation on your situation, suggestions for solving your problems, hints on what to do, etc.

I expect the fee for this consultation in cash at the appointment. In the case I will be assigned from the spot after the intial consultation, than this will be considered as an advance for the further consultation.

2.) Just "a" question?

You only have "a" question? Then dial my above service number. This service costs € 2 / min. (incl. VAT).

3.) Immigration Matters / Residence Permits

I take for applying/enforcing (after denial) at least €300. Furhter registration at adminstrative offices costs €60 flat, whenever this can be done in letter correspondence. Such will be typically the case with the tax office and trade office. Whenever I need to visit an office personally or accompany you, then I expect €150 flat. Further services will be negotiated.

4.) Case in Court

The Law on Attorneys Remuneration usually governs legal costs in court and are to be understood as minimum. A bargaining on these fees to a lower amount is prohibited.

5.) Collections

The old topic of all professionals: Shall I throw good money after bad money?  It is always worth for a single attempt to collect. In contrast to collecting agencies, lawyers has greater powers, to put "steam" on your debtor. This service costs you only 15% net of the open account. Further are my remuneration expectations, which can be adjusted to the individual case. Unnegotionable modus of payment will be 50% upfront and 50% upon completion. This offer is intended for businesses. Private associations and private persons need to add the current VAT rate of momentarily 19% to the below listed amounts.

1. Simple Check-up of Data Privacy Statement:
   This package includes proofreading the provided (maybe already online) text on data privacy to show any deficiencies and briefly comment them.

2. Enhanced Check-up of Data Privacy Statement:
   In addition to “simple check-up” supplying concrete suggestions for improvement of data privacy statement.
   EUR 400 – 500 net – depending on complexity  
   processing time ca. 2 – 4 working days
3. Individual Completion of Data Privacy Statement:
   This assignment to draft your company's personal data privacy statement starts at EUR 500 net – depending on complexity and trade, is subject to negotiation and will be bindingly determined at closure of assignment,
   processing time ca. 2 - 3 weeks
4. Translation of Data Privacy Statement:
   per standard line (50 characters (= letters + spaces) of target language)
   EUR 2 net
5. Imprint Check-up:
   This assignment includes checking for missing / wrong details and instructing on improvement.
