How much does my consultation cost ?
You can always ask me – free of cost – what it will cost to represent your interests. I will give you a quote or otherwise recommend you the expert. Start-up friendly prices are negotiable. If the assignment is a "one-timer" and clearly structured then I can agree upon a flat fee. If you need on-going consultation, that will be best invoiced by the billable hour. I try to keep my fees transparent by giving you a description of the tasks to be done. Legal aid is generally acceptable.
You are not in the vicinity? No problem! I am accustomed to consult remotely. Best contact me via my contact form and give me a clear picture of what your needs are. Please understand that I prefer eMail correspondence – whenever possible / reasonable.
Initial Consultation / Legal "First Aid"
This service will be interesting for you when you want to seriously test your chances / case without having yet to seriously invest into anything. There are two general approaches to this:
1) We arrange a Skype conference and orally discuss everything you have on your mind. It will be my intention to give you 2,002 answers to your 1,001 questions.
2.) You will forward me your requests /wishes for immigration with your CV per eMail or fax which instructs me on your citizenship. Upon receipt of your wishes, I will determine which kind of permit best suits your interests are in a short letter. This letter will also obtain a brief summary of the requirements you will have to meet. My goals are to show a path of how to legally enter and live in Germany.
The first option costs € 100 for an approx. 1 hour discussion online A written initial consultation will usually be preformed within two working days after you have shown that my fees have been forwarded. The second option costs € 200 flat. Follow-up questions or a written summary of our oral discussion are generally not included in this service but can be obtained for a surcharge of € 50.
I expect the fee for this consultation in cash at the appointment / upfront.
In the case I will be assigned from the spot after the initial consultation, than this will be considered as an advance for the further consultation.

Cases in Court
The Law on Attorneys Remuneration usually governs legal costs in court and are to be understood as minimum. A bargaining on these fees to a lower amount is prohibited. Please accept a small non-refundable surcharge for the surplus dealing of summarizing the court correspondence in English.

The old topic of all professionals: "Shall I throw good money after bad money?" It is always worth for a single attempt to collect. In contrast to collecting agencies, lawyers have greater powers, to put "steam" on your debtor. This service costs you only 10% net of the open account.
