WANTED: a successor for my business-immigration law firm (m, f, d)

A lean, profitable law firm for business immigration - built from scratch, paperless for 20+ years, and running its own online legal shops for the last six. I am now looking for one associate to inherit and simultaneously have a head start in their own business.
The opportunity
This is a genuine succession, not a junior position. You inherit an existing client base, an established brand, and a proven system - so you build your own practice on top of mine instead of starting from zero.
Over the coming years, you will take over the law office, and step by step my companies Beam my Presence to Germany GmbH and, optionally, ActoMate UG. You start under my brand name–and in time it becomes yours. My own focus is increasingly moving toward LegalTech and other ventures, which is exactly why I want to hand the baton to someone who will carry the business forward and grow it.
Who we serve
Our clientele is the (anglophone) foreigner who needs incorporation, immigration, or business support in Germany - investors, freelancers, and their employees, served person to person. The firm's USP is expat-to-expat consulting: remote company formation and full English-language support, including matters under §21 AufenthG. From day one, you work in an international, intercultural setting with clients and staff alike.
You are a fit if you can say yes to most of these
- You hold a German license to practice (Rechtsanwalt) or at least soon.
- You consult fluently in English - a further language is a plus.
- You communicate with clients in English and, where needed, with German authorities in German.
- You have solid knowledge of immigration, corporate, and/or tax law.
- You already have a small (or not-yet-existing) client base and some first entrepreneurial experience.
- You enjoy working with an internationally oriented lawyer and team.
- You are comfortable in a fully paperless office.
- You bring an expat or intercultural background.
- You have a sense of humor and stay calm under pressure.
- Your mindset is open to running the existing business and developing new models on top of it.

What I offer
Short term. A growing share of my cases while you find and serve your own clients in parallel - plus hands-on mentoring on both the legal work and client acquisition. I flag the pitfalls and point you to the opportunities.
Mid term (a few years in). You take over the law office and acquire Beam my Presence to Germany GmbH, and optionally ActoMate UG. In the meantime, Beam can also assign you as its attorney on a short-term basis.
Terms are discussed personally and structured to be realistic for a founder. This is meant as a head start, not a hurdle.
Practicalities
- Location: Berlin or the surrounding area.
- Start date: as early as you like.
