WANTED: Attorney for Citizenship, Immigration, and/or Corporate Law with German License

as a potential successor (m, f, d)

I developed a lean and mean law firm for business and immigration from scratch. In the last third of my success, I am looking for an associate, be they female, male, or otherwise, who is seriously interested in bootstrapping their own law office with a head start.

The person I am looking for can already have a nil to lill' client base and first entrepreneurial experience. You are interested in starting your own business in matching lines of business. While my mindset is more and more wandering off to LegalTech and other concerns, I want to hand over the baton of the success of my USP of business to be continued. You are to start your own business and further develop my business to yours by starting under my "brand name" so that it later becomes your brand.

What you will find in our law office is what mostly in mid-sized law firms. This office serves investors, freelancers as well as (their) employees – directly from person to person. Our firm has worked in a paperless environment – for 20+ years, and for the last five years it has had its own online shops for legal services.

Our clientele is typically the (anglophone) foreigner needing incorporation, immigration and/or business support. This office's USP is the consultation from expat to expat, remote founding and full lingual support in English, §21 AufenthG. From day one, you will be working in an international atmosphere with clients and other like-minded people and intercultural staff.

What's my offer?

Well, I have two. The short-term offer is to get more and more cases from me while you parallel find and serve your own clients. I will be mentoring you for your attorney's work and acquisition. I will be warning you about pitfalls and pointing to opportunities. After a couple of years, you will be take over the law office and purchase my company Beam my Presence to Germany GmbH and maybe my company ActoMate UG (limited liability) also. Beam will also be assigning you as an attorney on a short-term basis.

May I first ask you a few questions?

• Can you consult in English and maybe any other language fluently?
• Can you effectively and fluently communicate with clients in English and, consecutively, with authorities in German?
• Do you have significant knowledge of immigration, and/or corporate law and/or tax law?
• Are you interested in working with an internationally orientated lawyer and staff?
• Can you work in a paperless office?
• Do you have any expat / intercultural background?
• Do you have a sense of humor and remain calm under pressure?
• Is your mindset open to starting with the existing and continuing to develop new business models?
