Your idea is a “family reunion.” By word of the law, we confirm that this is the approach. However, have you also read and understood the requirement for “extraordinary hardship (außergewöhnliche Härte)”? This is the killing phrase to prevent any family reunion of parents to their children. The main exception is for the Blue Card EU.
However, we are not finished. We have developed a solution that works. Your parents will apply on their own grounds to relocate to Germany for better health care and ending their life over here. You can / will appear in the picture as much as necessary.
My services for assisting a pensioner in obtaining a residence permit will be manifold. Persons who do not retire after employment in Germany are tested very strictly. So, please have some patience – more than usual. We want to prepare your parents' application just as rigorously. We expect that we might be asked for more details or support. To prevent anybody from losing their face, we would like to perform this assignment in two independent steps:
Step 1: Testing the Chances of this Case.
During this step, we want to collect relevant information and test whether everything meets the general requirements. The general requirements are having sufficient health insurance, sufficient income/savings, no criminal records, sufficient accommodation in Germany, etc. We will arrange a Zoom or Skype call to run through the chances. I will strongly interview you and will require to have organized some information upfront. I will answer all your questions and address your concerns. This step will cost up to € 200 ex VAT.
Step 2: Preparing the Application
After we have established that your parents have a serious chance of getting the permit, we have to prepare all efficiently and with scrutiny! Believe us, the case deciders in the consulate and Germany “will fall over dead” when they notice an application for a retiree. ?? They think: “Gee, we already have an over-elderly society, and now an old person from abroad wants to live here?!” I work around this anxiety to show that your parents will not be a burden! The time scale will be 5 – 6 months until the application has been processed – starting on the day they apply.
This step will cost € 500 ex VAT upfront and € 500 ex VAT upon receipt of the entry visa – if they are visa waiver candidates, then the second installment matures after receiving the permit.
