WANTED: Attorney for Business and Immigration
in part-time (Associate)
My office is quickly expanding, and consultation needs outside my personal competence as well as our capacity to serve clients has become too much to handle alone. Too much acquisition is abandoned because you are missing. Therefore, I am offering you a part-time position for an associate lawyer. You are to start your own career and work on your own acquisition.
What you will find in our law office is what typically mid-sized law firms offer. This office is for businesspersons serving businesspersons as well as employees – directly from person to person. Our firm has worked in a paperless environment – for 20+ years. Being the first and only attorney to have completely digitized and automated the incorporation process, we continue to strive to digitize and automate immigration and naturalization cases. Our clientele is typically the (anglophone) foreigner needing immigration and / or business support.
We are typically on the hunt for a young lawyer, already having a German license or soon having one (Referendar/-in), be it female or male, interested in consulting from "business to business immigration". Supplementary special legal interests or lingual abilities are an asset. You already have a minor own client base? Bring them with you! Let us expand that network.
From day one, you will be working in an international atmosphere and clients with other like-minded people and intercultural staff. My main interest is around the services I currently offer: citizenship, immigration, incorporation. I would also be interested in supplemental legal specializations/interests.
May I first ask you a few questions?
- Can you fluently consult in English and any other language?
- Can you effectively and fluently communicate with clients in English and with authorities in German consecutively?
- Do you have significant knowledge of citizenship, immigration, and / or corporate law?
- Are you interested in working with an internationally orientated lawyer and staff?
- Can you work in a paperless office?
- Do you have any expat background?
- Do you have humor and remain calm under pressure?
- Do you live in Berlin or the suburbs? This is a requirement.
- If you do not have your lawyer's patent yet, will you "reasonably" soon have it?
When nothing applies to you, then please go to my competition!
Otherwise, I will be happy to read your email developing why you are a good fit and forwarding your CV as a PDF. Any and all paper applications will not only be ignored but they also will especially not be returned.
I guess you would also like to know a few details around your employment. Of course, you can learn on your benefits!
- You will be able to work remotely / in the office in a mutually reasonable mixture,
- You will receive an exchange email account,
- You will receive a smart and soft phone,
- You will have attractive framework conditions, such as performance-related pay,
- Further education and training opportunities shall be provided.
